Implants are very similar to natural teeth, in appearance and function. Implants have a high success rate and are a great option if you are missing teeth.

Implants can be placed in a conventional, immediate or guided surgery. If the bone quality is good when the tooth is taken out, it is possible to leave the same day with an implant; this process is known as immediate implants. You arrive with a tooth and leave with a tooth.

Computer guided surgery involves taking a 3D CT scan of your jaw and making a printed surgical guide based of your 3D xray. This allows us to place implants in a highly guided and accurate manner, minimizing surgical complications. Surgical guides allow for quick and easy implant placements in complicated areas of the mouth.

Implants for a full arch

If many teeth are missing or compromised, it may be better to consider a full arch replacement rather than single teeth. 4-6 implants are placed on an arch followed by a prosthesis that we fabricate in our lab.

There are options for both fixed (non-removable) and removable full arch prostheses.

Full arch implant prostheses allow us to correct your smile, bite and overall appearance and to restore what has been lost over many years.

There are many factors that go into the final cost of an implant. Each case is unique and treatment plans are personalized to your individual needs. Some things to consider in the cost of implants are:

  • How much bone is present? Is there any bone loss in the area?

  • What kind of implant is needed?

  • How many implants are needed?

  • Do you need a 3D cone beam CT scan for your case?

  • Are there teeth that need to be extracted?

  • Is a bite correction needed?

  • What type of restoration is needed? (eg. crown, bridge, full arch?)
